A legal disclaimer

This is to inform you of our terms and conditions for all classes or sessions booked or attended by you, the customer, and Delphine Dubreucq Yoga. By participating in classes, retreats or or private sessions you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions for Activities.

  1. All physical postures instructed by the teacher are to be undertaken by you with sensible judgement, if something feels painful, don’t do it. Trust your own guidance, and listen to your body. Risk of injury within the context of yoga is minimal, but when you are moving your body, there is always a risk.

  2. By participating in group yoga classes, you agree that you are physically able to practice yoga and that Delphine Dubreucq Yoga is not responsible or liable for any personal injury, accident or loss to personal possessions.

  3. Bookings for classes should be made in advance in order to secure a place.   4. Bookings and payments are made online. If you are unable to book online please contact delphine.cq@outlook.com  More information regarding supply of Data for booking and payment can be found in the Privacy Policy.

  5. Payment should be made in advance before you attend the class. Some group classes have an option to amend booking or change the date, see individual class description. Payment for classes are non- refundable unless in the case of serious illness or other emergency and should be discussed with Delphine.

  6. If we need to cancel a class (due to illness or personal issues) which you have paid for in advance we will refund you the full amount or offer a transfer.

  7. Group yoga classes are usually taught by Delphine Dubreucq, however if she is unable to teach, a suitably qualified and experienced teacher will be booked to cover. We will endeavour to let participants know of any teacher changes, but this is not always possible.

  8. Payment concessions are available for those with a genuine need, please contact Delphine Dubreucq to discuss confidentially.

  9. Not medical, mental health, or religious advice. You are solely responsible for your own physical, mental and emotional well-being during our work together. This work is solely educational. Yoga practice is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment and is not a substitute for professional therapy if needed. I am not, nor am I holding myself out to be a medical professional, mental health professional, counsellor or coach. As a yoga teacher, I am not providing health care, medical or nutritional services, or attempting to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any physical, mental or emotional issue, disease or condition. The information provided via my Classes or Website pertaining to your health and wellness, or any other aspect of your life is not intended to be a substitute for the professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment provided by your own medical provider or mental health provider. You agree and acknowledge that I am not providing medical advice, mental health advice, or religious advice in any way. Always seek the advice of your own medical provider and / or mental health provider regarding any questions or concerns you have about your specific health needs before implementing any recommendations or suggestions from our Classes or Website.

Terms and Conditions for Workshops

  1. Bookings for workshops should be made in advance in order to secure a place.

  2. Bookings and payments are made online. If you are unable to book online please contact

  3. All workshops are non-refundable. Credit on account can be given if a workshop is sold out and there is a wait list.

  4. You may transfer your booked workshop place to another participant, but please advise us of any changes.

  5. If we have to cancel the workshop you will receive a full refund.

Terms and Conditions for UK retreats

  1. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space. Payment of the balance should be made before the final date specified, and failure to do this will result in your place being cancelled.

  2. If you withdraw 60 days or more before the retreat your remaining balance will be refunded (less your deposit).

  3. If you withdraw less than 60 days before the retreat then no refund will be given, however you may transfer your place to another person.

  4. Please note that no refunds, credits or transfers will be given for no-shows, early departure from the retreat, unused days or force majeure.

  5. If we cancel the retreat then all payments including the deposit shall be returned.

  6. We strongly recommend you purchase holiday insurance in case of cancellation on your part.

  7. All retreat participants will be asked to complete a brief health questionnaire and liability waiver before attending the event.

Terms and Conditions for Private Lessons

  1. All cancellations of private sessions should be made within 48 hours, or full session fee will apply.

  2. In the case of sudden illness or emergency, please contact Delphine as soon as possible. Re-scheduling will depend on session time availability.

  3. If for any reason Delphine needs to cancel due to illness or emergencies she will contact you with as much notice as possible.

Support for Private Yoga Clients

Support between sessions is essential and available via email. Emails are answered periodically throughout the business day and can take up to 24 hours for response during a normal business week. Please note on weekends and days off, email communication is limited.

Pricing & Payments for Private Lessons

Pricing is set by an hourly session rate. Rates available upon request with discounts usually available for packages. Concessions are available for those with a genuine need. Sessions are online via Zoom, or can be in your home unless an alternative venue is agreed. Payment must be made in advance of the session to confirm your booking, and bank details will be provided upon request.

Travel costs for Private Lessons

If Delphine needs to travel to you for private session, we will agree costs in advance.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates are available for a single session or a bundle session package. Gift certificates expire one year from purchase date and are non-refundable. Purchaser will receive an electronic gift certificate for their chosen recipient. Recipient will make appointment with Delphine Dubreucq Yoga.

Private Yoga Class Package -

Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payments

  • All packages must be paid in full before the first session.

  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or cash.

  • Packages are non-refundable but may be transferred to another client with prior agreement.

2. Expiry & Validity

  • 5-class pack: Valid for 2 months from the date of purchase.

  • 10-class pack: Valid for 4 months from the date of purchase.

  • 20-class pack: Valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

  • Unused sessions after the expiration date will not be refunded or extended.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • A minimum 24-hour notice is required to reschedule a session without extra fees..

  • Sessions canceled within 24 hours will be charged in full.

  • If the instructor cancels, a reschedule or refund will be provided.

​

4. Travel & Location

  • Sessions are held at the client’s home.

  • Travel fees may apply for locations beyond a 4-mile radius.

  • Clients must provide a clean and quiet space for the session.

​

5. Health & Safety

  • Clients must inform the instructor of any injuries or medical conditions before the first session.

  • The instructor is not liable for injuries sustained during the session due to incorrect execution of poses.

​

6. Package Transfers & Freezes

  • Packages can be transferred to another person with prior approval.

  • Clients may request a one-time freeze of their package for up to 1 month (for medical or travel reasons).

Terms & Conditions
for Corporate Yoga Sessions
​

These terms and conditions outline the terms of engagement for corporate yoga services provided by Delphine Dubreucq.

​

1. Booking & Payment

  • All corporate yoga sessions must be booked and confirmed via email or the contact form at least 7 days in advance.

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for all group packages (5 sessions or more). The balance is due on the day of the first session unless otherwise agreed.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal.

  • For single-session bookings, payment is required in full before the session begins.

2. Session Details

  • Each session will last for 60 minutes, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Corporate yoga can be held on-site at your office or virtually via Zoom/other platforms.

  • Travel fees may apply for in-person sessions if the location is outside of 4 miles. Fees will be communicated in advance.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled session will be charged in full.

  • To reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Any cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled time will incur a fee.

  • No-shows will be charged the full session fee.

  • If the instructor is unable to attend the session due to unforeseen circumstances, a replacement instructor will be provided or a full refund/rescheduling will be offered.

4. Group Size & Pricing

  • Prices listed are for group sessions and are based on the size of the group:

    • Small Group (Up to 10 people)

    • Medium Group (11-20 people)

    • Large Group (20+ people)

  • Additional participants outside the agreed group size may be subject to an extra fee of £15 per person.

5. Equipment

  • Clients are responsible for providing basic yoga equipment, such as mats, blocks, and straps.

  • If the equipment is not provided, a rental fee per session will apply for mats or props.

​

6. Health & Safety

  • Clients must inform the instructor of any medical conditions or injuries before the session begins.

  • Yoga sessions are intended for general wellness and fitness. The instructor is not liable for any injuries sustained during the session due to improper practice or failure to follow instructions.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that participants have appropriate clothing and a safe environment for practicing yoga.

7. Corporate Wellness Packages

  • Discounts are available for bulk bookings.

    • 5-class pack: [XX% discount]

    • 20-class pack: [XX% discount]

  • Corporate wellness packages are valid for [X months] from the date of purchase. Unused sessions cannot be refunded or transferred after the expiry date.

  • For customized packages (e.g., ongoing weekly/monthly sessions), prices will be provided upon request based on the company's needs.

8. Liability & Indemnity

  • The instructor will not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to participants during corporate sessions, either on the premises or during virtual sessions.

  • The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Delphine Dubreucq and its instructors against any claims, losses, damages, or costs arising from the yoga sessions.

9. Termination of Agreement

  • Either party may terminate the contract by providing 30 days’ notice in writing.

  • If the client wishes to cancel a series of pre-paid sessions, refunds will be offered for unused sessions, excluding any cancellation or administrative fees.

10. Confidentiality

  • Any confidential information shared by the client during the sessions, including employee health conditions or company-specific data, will be kept strictly confidential and not shared with third parties unless required by law.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and you as the website owner. 

 

T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).     

 

T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.

What to include in the T&C document
